Student Externship Opportunities.

At Oasis Animal Hospital, vet student externs will primarily be observing our work initially in the first few days, but the large number of cases that each extern will be exposed to, coupled with the knowledge and expertise of our veterinarians, provides an incredibly valuable learning environment.  We also expose our externs to interactions with clients, and when available, perform surgeries on Good Sam cases seen through our Urgent Care & ER. 

 

We try to facilitate as many opportunities for learning as possible from working alongside our licensed vet techs to interacting with our GP and ER veterinarians. We also welcome our externs to attend any continuing education opportunities that are available during their externship.
